Newcastle Vision Clinic is pleased to offer a wide range of optometric services, eye care products including eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, and contact lenses. Our staff is happy to help however we can.

Our Doctors
Dr. Allison Moy OD, FAAO, FSLS
Optometrist
Dr. Moy is originally from San Diego and attended UC Berkeley for her undergraduate studies. She received her Doctor of Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. After obtaining her degree, Dr. Moy completed residency training in Cornea and Specialty Contact Lenses at UC Berkeley’s Meredith Morgan Eye Clinic.
Dr. Moy has a strong interest in specialty contact lens fittings for irregular corneas (including keratoconus, pellucid margin degeneration, post-corneal transplants, and post-refractive ectasia). She has extensive experience fitting scleral lenses, multifocal GP lenses, custom soft lenses, and spherical and bitoric GP lenses. Additionally during her residency, Dr. Moy was involved in fitting corneal reshaping technology (CRT) lenses and multifocal soft lenses on children to control myopia progression.
She is both a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society.
Dr. Moy enjoys spending time outdoors especially water sports, catching a play, and traveling. She has 2 boys that keep her busy too!
Dr. Scott Oda OD
Optometrist
Dr. Oda is known for his commitment to the well-being of the communities he serves in both Newcastle and Auburn, WA. With his dependable and attentive approach, he has gained a reputation as a trusted healthcare provider among his patients.
Dr. Oda's academic achievements earned him a full scholarship at San Francisco State University, where he completed his bachelor's degree. Dr. Oda went on to attend Southern California College of Optometry. He completed his externships at Northwest Eyecare Network in Bellevue, the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, and Inland Eye Specialists in Hemet, CA.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Oda nurtures a love for grilling, and the opportunity to share his dishes with family and friends. Dr. Oda is also an avid follower of technological advancements, as he understands the crucial role technology plays in advancing the field of optometry and improving patient care.
What truly sets Dr. Oda apart is his exceptional bedside manner. He approaches each patient with sensitivity and understanding, recognizing the unique circumstances and concerns they bring to his practice. By actively listening and engaging in open communication, he ensures that his patients' needs and priorities are at the forefront of their care.
